Last week election alert, no.1 In Scullin, Socialist Left Andrew Giles preferences bookburners, anti-abortion shils above Vic Socialists
Election alert: Lurchlike SL meatpuppet marionette has no shame, apparently
Andrew Giles, member for Scullin, in Melbourne’s north, is a stalwart of the Victorian Socialist Left, and a grinning ambitious twunt who used one of his meatplate hands to grasp a knife and stab Senator Kim Carr in the back, in exchange for a Cabinet seat from Albo. The move diminished the Victorian SL, and the left generally, and helped Albo seal a deal with the Conroyite right (duty manager: Richard Marles) - basically a client faction of US spy agencies - based on Albo’s rubber stamp support for the disastrous AUKUS deal. Giles’s hobby, as listed in Who’s Who, is gangling.
Giles hates the Greens, because they show him up, by having left policies. He’s added the Vic Socialists to his list, preferencing them 7th out of 8. Who’s ahead of fellow socialists? Well Ursula Van Bree for one, running for Gerald Rennick’s People's Party. Rennick is a loony Queensland climate change denier who was turfed from a winnable Senate spot by the LNP. Van Bree runs a sweet shop in Whittlesea, is a serial candidate, formerly for One Nation, and as a local govt candidate tried to ban books from the council’s libraries.
According to the Victorian Pride Centre, Van Bree was part of a team led by Aidan McLindon, a former leader of the more-or-less fascist Freedom Party, whose policies included the removal of sex education and LGBTQ books from Whittlesea Shire libraries. Another candidate Giles has preferences above VS is Cassandra Bell, for Family First. She’s anti-abortion, they all are, but she's a little more. With a degree in theology and bioethics she's done advocacy for her church, the Rhema Family church in Mill Park. In other words she trains anti-abortion activists. Giles has also preferenced One Nation, and Trumpet of Patriots (though that candidate is a pro pill-testing campaigner, so free pass). But what a final act for a man the left in Melbourne’s Northside left once held in some regard. Who’s pulling the strings on the meatpuppet marionette from Scullin?
GR writes: Arggghhh, actually he preferenced One Nation below VS. so he only preferenced the former One Nation candidate above VS.
Surprised he didn’t preference the Libs above the Socialists, are they running in his seat ?
